If you have more than one kit, when and where do you use it? When do you use the others? I'll go first.

I have three kits. The first is a 7 pc Zickos. I can use it with the whole set up (22, 18, 16, 14, 13, 12 and SD). It's fun because everywhere you swing you hit something. The downside is that it is a lot of stuff to lug around. Or, I can use it as a 5 pc (22, 16, 13, 12 and SD) which is how I usually use it. Or it is a 4 pc jazz kit (18 as BD,14 as FT, 12 and SD). I haven't tried this yet, but I just got into a new jazz combo and I can't wait to use it at our first gig. I also have a 5 pc Pearl Forum that I use for faster set up situations or when I have to leave it unattended. I also have a 4 pc no name kit I bought to play outdoor pit jobs when I have to leave it overnight in there storage. I also have these last two kits set up in my studio for lessons. I don't have enough cymbals for all of these but I am working on it.

I didn't always have this many kits. This is a new thing in my life but I am taking advantage of it. I know that there are some of you that have far more equipment than this, but it's a lot for me.

I prefer to play vintage Ludwig and Rogers drums but I do like the Gretsch Renown modern series maple shell drums.

Is this a good deal?

Zildjian A Custom Rezo's

Gday, I've just upgraded my kit and cymbals and have gone with A Custom Rezo's and I'm finding that my sticks are chopping out badly on the hats, barely making it through a 4 hour gig.

Hat height, stool position and sticks are all the same but it's the first time I've had brand new cymbals.

I've tried changing the position of the bottom mount and different angles on the bottom hat but it makes no difference.

I'm wondering if it's just the new cymbals or is it the A Customs?

Any other thoughts greatly appreciated.

Since I can't figure out how to post pictures so I will describe what I need. I need the top 1/3 or 2/3s of a Ludwig cymbal stand or equivalent (top rod or top rod and middle tube). OD of the tube on middle part is 3/4". The top rod is 3/8".

I need these to complete some stands both for me and for the school for inner city youth where I volunteer (emphasize volunteer). Anybody?

Totally feel expanding my electric kit would be a good idea but going over the prices for a module that could hold it makes me think about going hybrid and just adding a bunch of accoustic bits to my kit.
