SIMBILZ?
I grew up with Zildjian and that is what I prefer to use.  Paiste 602 are good and now that they are being reissued I may get some but not at the high retail price.  Zildjian seems to be better at marketing their cymbals than Paiste too.

Paiste, with just a couple of very select older Zildjians. Paiste is the rpeffered choice in my little world. :-D

Going to ad Paiste 20" 2002 Ride, Paiste 20" 2002 or 3000 Heavy Ride, Paiste 18" 2002 Crash to my arsenal as I can afford it.

I use mostly Zildjian but I recently bought a Sabian 21" Raw Bell Dark Ride that I like a lot.  I used to have a Dream crash but tha't another story.

I can cross the 20" 2002 Crash off my list. Bought one yesterday. :-)

old or new 2002 and what weight?

It's a new Red Label. Don't know the actual weight but it's just a crash. Not a medium, thin or power designation.

OK I lied. It is a medium crash after all. But hey, like I said it is new. That's my lame excuse for my mistake.:-)

its a slightly different alloy then the old ones from which i own a medium 16 and 18 crash,the difference being a bit less silvery but warmer sound then the first series, still very nice sounding pies

I mostly use Paiste Signatures with a mix of vintage 602's! For Jazz I use  Zildjian 20" K-Constanople medium ride, a Masterwork 19" Resonant crash, a 17.5" 50's Zildjian crash and a 50's set of 15" Zildjian hats.  "AWESOME"
