Gday, I've just upgraded my kit and cymbals and have gone with A Custom Rezo's and I'm finding that my sticks are chopping out badly on the hats, barely making it through a 4 hour gig.

Hat height, stool position and sticks are all the same but it's the first time I've had brand new cymbals.

I've tried changing the position of the bottom mount and different angles on the bottom hat but it makes no difference.

I'm wondering if it's just the new cymbals or is it the A Customs?

Any other thoughts greatly appreciated.
